Here’s Ars Vinorum from May’s Metropolitan. This is sadly the last long form review: the mag has moved to much shorter resto recs, which I’m still writing, but with less space to salivate and rant and generally enjoy myself. Booo.
Anyway, I love Ars Vinorum. It’s round the corner from my former workplace and the combination of glorious pasta + wine you don’t have to choose + vast pillowy tiramisu ticks all my boxes. The antipasti is pretty oustanding too, if you are the kind of person who insists on having something that isn’t a deliciously buttery carb on their plate.
Do you do the French text too, or do they translate it for you?
They do it. Usually very well, I think.
